About Instant Karma Entertainment, LLC

Mission
Instant Karma Entertainment, LLC (IKE,LLC) is a business dedicated to creating jobs and opportunities in the film and entertainment industries for residents, both professional and students, of the Baltimore area. 
It was created in March of 2009 by Richard Dinges and David Sawyer. We market products derived from creative intellectual property, industrial media, event documentation, live events, and technical services for hire as well as equipment services for rent and consultation on creative environments.

IKE, LLC

Richard Dinges has a background in entertainment as an actor/performer and writer.
In addition, he spent ten years working with the national  non profit org-Cartoonists Across America-a unique pro arts and  literacy educational and advocacy effort. While working with CAA-his  responsibilities included: marketing, sales, fund raising, community  organizing, and advertising. In addition he worked as co-producer on a documentary that followed  the exploits of the organization.
Approximately 500 public events were staged over a ten year period.  His acting background includes theater as well as film/television. He  has also been a public speaker and collaborated on the design of  presentation.
Mr. Dinges is a professional screenplay writer and has edited several short subjects for both the web and motion picture screens.

David Sawyer, a retired social worker and librarian, is a historian and writer who has also maintained a career in acting, event coordination and community organizing. He is also a professional musician, voice over artist and academic lecturer. He has a Master of Recording Arts and Sciences Degree from the State of Maryland Board of Higher Education. Mr. Sawyer has served on Boards of Directors of several non profit community organizations. He is the founding director of United Community Access Media (UCAM,Inc.). His music publishing company, Sawyersongs Music, has been associated with ASCAP for over fifteen years. He is co-author of several intellectual properties associated with Instant Karma Entertainment’s portfolio.

Benjamin Hall,
a lifelong Baltimorean, is owner and operator of The Logic Box Studio. TLB has assisted the directing, filming, and editing of local documentaries.  Hall also has a history as an accomplished community activist in Baltimore since 1998. A local musician, he has played with such bands as Legion Lost, H20, and The Baltimorean Utopian Downslide. He has a background in computer science and recently participated in a minority research symposium at Morgan State University.  Called Jay by his friends, Mr. Hall has the knowledge of modern science as it relates to practical business. He has developed his own microchip from scratch and brings his considerable expertise, talent and skill to Instant Karma Entertainment as a working partner.
